It features a durable mahogany body with a gloss finish that ensures both longevity and sleekness. The one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded “C” profile provides smooth, comfortable playability. Its laurel fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets allows easy navigation and precise playing. Equipped with Gibson Custombucker humbucker pickups, this guitar delivers a rich, versatile sound, ideal for various musical genres. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Maestro Short Vibrola tailpiece enhance sustain and tuning stability. Additionally, Epiphone Deluxe tuners with a double-ring keystone button provide accurate tuning adjustments.
This Flying V guitar faithfully recreates the one Hendrix used extensively from 1967 to 1969. Originally a Sunburst model, Hendrix customized his Ebony-refinished Gibson Flying V with psychedelic graphics that he hand-painted. These iconic graphics are faithfully reproduced on this model. The Inspired by Gibson Custom logo and Jimi Hendrix’s signature on the back of the headstock authenticate its homage to the original instrument. This guitar is perfect for collectors, Hendrix fans, and musicians looking for a unique piece with historical value. The included black hardshell case, with gold hardware and a light blue interior, protects the guitar while showcasing its authenticity.
With its premium materials and attention to detail, the Epiphone “Love Drops” Flying V Ebony is a remarkable tribute to one of rock’s greatest icons. It combines history, style, and top-tier craftsmanship, making it a must-have for guitarists and collectors alike.
