Audio-Technica ATV-SG1 On-Camera Shotgun Microphone

Description

The Audio-Technica ATV-SG1 On-Camera Shotgun Microphone delivers professional-grade audio capture for filmmakers and content creators. It performs reliably in demanding production environments. Moreover, it combines portability with advanced sound technology. As a result, it enhances DSLR and mirrorless camera workflows with ease.
Firstly, the microphone uses a 100 mm highly directional acoustic tube. This design focuses tightly on the subject. Consequently, it reduces unwanted ambient noise during recording. Additionally, the newly developed 14 mm large diaphragm captures natural, high-resolution audio. Therefore, voices sound rich, detailed, and lifelike in every recording.
Furthermore, the integrated shock mount system reduces handling noise effectively. It absorbs vibrations caused by camera movement. Meanwhile, Audio-Technica’s patented noise immunity minimizes interference from smartphones and electronic devices. This ensures clean recordings in modern digital environments.
In addition, users gain flexible control through a low-cut filter switch. This feature reduces wind, traffic, and HVAC noise. Similarly, the stepless gain adjustment knob allows precise real-time audio control during shoots. Moreover, the safety track function records a backup channel at lower gain. This protects against distortion during sudden audio spikes.
The microphone also includes a built-in USB rechargeable battery. It delivers up to 24 hours of continuous operation. Therefore, it supports long shooting sessions without interruption. Additionally, the included wind muff improves outdoor recording quality.
Finally, the 12-sided adjustable shoe mount offers flexible positioning on cameras. It allows 30-degree rotation and sliding movement for optimal placement. Consequently, creators achieve precise audio alignment. Overall, the ATV-SG1 provides professional clarity, control, and reliability for modern video production.
The Audio-Technica ATV-SG1 On-Camera Shotgun Microphone delivers reliable, professional audio with advanced control features, making it an excellent choice for creators seeking clear, focused sound in any recording environment.
